Littelfuse ITV2718 Battery Protectors

Littelfuse ITV2718 Battery Protectors are chip-type surface mountable devices that are designed to protect against both overcurrent and overcharging. These protectors feature fast response time and offer 5A rated current and 36V maximum DC voltage. The ITV2718 battery protectors include a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal electrical current and to cut off the current when overcurrent occurs. These battery protectors also include a resistive heating element that can be used in combination with voltage detectors such as IC and FET. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically excited to generate heat to blow the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection. The ITV2718 battery protectors are used in notebooks, cell phones, cameras, ultrabooks, tablet PCs, printers, security systems, and automotive applications.
